Last Rose of Summer

among the sweet, pitiful decay of my garden,
after a day drowned in the sky's tears,
this is what I found,
with the morning sun,
joy.

That's great that you still have that rose. So sad it is the last, though. :(

Inhale its scent while you can, Vesper! So beautiful.

I loved the sweet, pitiful decay of my garden. They are kind of collapsing in on themselves at this point. I'm glad this one had one more gift to offer. :)

Very gorgeous. Even the dew drops showed up. And such a delicate color.

Thank you, Bernard!

Yes, Paul, it was a nice surprise... Others will come. :-)

Sarah, they are collapsing in on themselves. But it has a richness, a promise of a future in it...

Charles, thank you. I even discovered a spider's string in the second photo...
