I’ve posted this poem here before, more than
five years ago. (Amazing! Five years!) At that time, though, other people were
reading this blog... This poem has stayed with me and I often find myself
singing it in my mind, or even aloud when there's no one around...
Here it is again, for your enjoyment. I hope you had a
fabulous Valentine’s Day!
Fabian Perez – Tango in Paris in Black Suit
Dance of Love
Into this wild
abyss
of bliss
we fall
Some say it’s love
we call it
war
Onto this blade of trust
we walk
we dance
You hold me tight
as we abide
by this game’s
rule
Sweet avalanche
of blood
we seek
We fight
harsh tango of
the hearts
While in a wild abyss
of bliss
we hide
We kiss
of bliss
we fall
Some say it’s love
we call it
war
Onto this blade of trust
we walk
we dance
You hold me tight
as we abide
by this game’s
rule
Sweet avalanche
of blood
we seek
We fight
harsh tango of
the hearts
While in a wild abyss
of bliss
we hide
We kiss

nice...great passion and walking the edge in it as well...walking that blade...and love in a way is a fight...for sure...tight poem...
Now that is some serious dancing. It sounds like the perfect passionate relationship.
perfect passionate Valentine's Day and look here you're from Montreal, my home town, although haven't been there in ages....
Thank you for sharing this.
Paul
It seems as if I remember it. But I'm too young to have been reading blogs for five years. :) Great piece.
Love is always a dance on the sharp edge of the blade, but if you cut me I know you will sew me up and put a bandage on it.
My kind of love poem fo sho!
Perfect.
Oh la la...love it! I'm so glad you shared this again. Tres sexy!
I have quite a few new readers now too and I do quite a few encores myself at my blogs.
Happy Weekend Vesper. Hope you'll join us for #2 prompt at Woven Dreams too!
I remember this!
I loved it then and I love it now. Especially how the rhythm scissors back and forth, only to end abruptly on that fated kiss.
Smoking hot. :) Thanks for reposting it, Vesper!
sweet...
o, how we danced,
on the night we were wed...
if you think we danced -
you've got rocks in your head!
I like the mating photo and poem very much.
Thank you, Brian.
