Supermoon Eclipse in my Garden
Can't believe I haven't posted here since early May... There was a fantastic show tonight and I'm happy I was able to witness it from my back yard. Perfect sky up until the eclipse was full and then clouds rushed in. Doesn't matter, I've seen all of it.

I envy you just a bit. Went out to see it and the cloud cover was too thick. I just got a haze of red. Lovely shots.
Just prio to the start the clouds over Detroit broke completely and returned just after the moon was back full. Oddly enough, I guess none of the schools around here told the students to look up--there was no one else out watching. Shame.

X, thank you for stopping by! Yeah, I couldn't believe the chance of a perfectly clear sky... I'm not sure why my camera didn't capture the reddish hue.

Yeah, I was surprised that they didn't mention the eclipse in my daughters' school. Also, no word about water on Mars... :-(

Fantasy life is good too. Never struggle with an outline. Sometimes you simply have to fly by the seat of your pants and write without worrying about sequences. :)

Bernard, yeah, outlines are not my style... but I felt I needed one for this novel. I gave up in the end, more or less, but it did serve a purpose. :-)
Thank you for the experience. Our sky at the time of the eclipse was clouded and the event took place here in Europe between 1AM to 4 AM, when I, uhm, do not usually in the mood for taking photos :)
