Are we different? Certainly, one year older than on January 1st, 2015... Maybe, a little more hopeful for new beginnings... Energized, perhaps, ready for new projects or to renew projects (that is, if we're over that hangover...). I think I was writing once on this blog how each month feels different to me and January feels a bit scary... A door opening into a wide, open space where... well, who knows what awaits there... (something like in "At the Mountains of Madness"...)
Resolutions, anyone?
Mine are to:
- laugh more
- write more
- exercise more
- pay more attention
- worry less
- procrastinate less
- play Hay Day less (I don't know about that)

The ghost of Mark Twain asks me not to make resolutions -- it's all about the journey he says! :-)
I pray your New Year is filled with magic and opportunities to shine and to bask in the wonder of unexpected joy.
Have a wonderful and happy 2016, Vesper! Wishing you all of the very best xoxo
I never played Hay Day... .

I'm just hoping for good things.
Happy New Year, Cora. To keep storytelling is my only wish. :)
Happy New Year, dear Vesper!
I am glad you aimed for "more writing". Great, so we may red more stuff from you here. :)
My resolutions are yet to be made :)
I guess more walking (and less travelling by car), more hiking (and less indoor leisure) and more fun (and less worrying) will be among my goals ;)
In my comment above, red should read read.
In other words, read red read.
Those are good resolutions Vesper, I can relate! My main one for 2016 is to spend my time wisely and on things that bring happiness to my days, as much as possible. No time for things that don't count.
I wish you a wonderful New Year and much success with your creative pursuits too.
PS: Book news: Mr. Cheddar is now a published feline!
His new eBook was just published in December:
Mr. Cheddar's Meowsings! Kibbles of Wisdom from a Wise and Witty Feline
He's made a few of the Top 100 lists at Amazon already, so we are pretty darn pleased by that. ;-)
Cheers, Vesper and y'all ~ ~ > !
Around the world, looks like 2016 is going to be one nutty ride . . .
I resolve to be resolute through onward revolutions of sun and moon.

HNY Vesper. Good resolutions. I don't make any but always strive to improve. More writing would be good. Definitely. :-)
I made the no resolutions equals no need for changes resolution again this year--same as the last 40 years--which is why I am forever young.
Excellent resolutions! :-) Me, I have none, never make any.
Greetings from London.
I don't make resolutions, but I really like the New Year card at the bottom.
A little late getting here but Happy New Year dear Cora
I don't usually make any resolutions but yours are good ones!
I am always reading and writing and plan on traveling a lot this year!
Be well and happy
xo
