Bless the Geese

Yup, they’re here. I’ve seen a squad very early this morning, flying north, drawing a slightly confused – but, oh, so lovely - V on the subdued blue and pink of the sunrise sky.

I had a sad poem on my mind, but now it’ll have to wait. The sun is shining. A squirrel has taken hold of the bird house and she’s making her nest there – I won’t chase her away, she’s too cute.

This is my hundredth post and it’s a happy one, for springtime is finally here.

Yay for the happy post. We are experiencing Spring as well. I think my daffodils are going to bloom today or tomorrow. They are so close!

Also, we have a squirrel that we see from time to time out our window. My daughter loves it when I point the little guy out. When he isn't there she says, "Where did squirrel go?". I tell her he is probably in a tree, or gathering food.

Ah, signs of spring! I keep waiting for it in my neck of the woods, but I hear it's coming soon. Enjoy!

Glad Spring has reached some part of the world, even if it is not part.

Happy day, and congratulations on 100 posts.

Geese for you and I'm looking out on a snow globe of wild and wet Rocky Mountain spring snow! We're so gullible -- every year we see the signs of spring and we think we're finished with winter and every year, just like Charlie Brown and Lucy and the football, it's a trick ;)

Congratulations on 100 posts! I'm so glad you're "out here".

Indeed, Jason, and you said it very nicely... :-)

You have a much better climate where you live, Paul. We're far from seeing anything bloom... Still, there's hope... :-)

Writinggb, thank you, and thank you for visiting! Yes, we have to enjoy the tiniest of signs of spring... :-)

Thank you, David! Wait till we get another snowstorm... (Touch wood, it won't happen till next winter!) :-)

Lisa, I know it's a trick, it would be too good to be true, but, shhhh, don't say it too loud, maybe we'll get away with it. :-)
Besides, I saw geese, but my house is still hidden amongs huge mounds of snow...
Thank you! And I am glad that you're "out here"> :-)
