Bunny in my Garden

Sweet little thing,
nibbling at my clover...
You watch me
with those chocolate beads
and your sweet huge fear
melts forever my harsh human heart.
We are not so different,
you and I,
darling little thing...

Nice poem however I would be scared if there was a rabbit around me

A counterpoint poem, Vesper, just for fun. :)

Bunny started nibbling on my clover.
But soon began munching all over.
My veggies vanished from the garden,
Like innocence from post apple Eden.
Flowers followed to feed the hunger,
Convincing me of my foolish blunder.
This was no cute furry friend of mine,
But a hellish creature, living to dine,
Ruining my expensive landscape plain,
Creating sinkholes to maim after a rain.
Bunny, thy name be demonic to me,
For my sanity, I shall exorcise thee. :)

Great poem and cute photo. I love seeing them on the campus I work at.

Thanks, Ropi! Why are you scared of rabbits? :-)

Ha, ha, ha, Bernard! I like your version so much more than mine! Besides, mine's an illusion, yours reflects the reality... Thank you! :-) :-) :-)

Thanks, Paul! Yeah, they're very cute. :-)

Such a sweet poem, Vesper. I love the picture, too. Bunny's vulnerability is striking.

Maybe too much, Jason! Our lawn is far from perfect... :-)

Thank you, Sarah. You too saw it... this vulnerability is all I could think of while trying to take some pictures...

Thank you, Lisa, they are adorable and also exasperating... :-)

Chris, I hope you also have that chicken! :-)
