Just Passing

Don’t worry, it’ll pass
this headache
this heartache
this rainy day
this changing of diapers
this scorching heat
this exam
this long winter
this year
this joy
this loss
this awkward youth
this pain
this love
this waiting
this life
Yeah
Everything will pass

I couldn’t resist posting this photographic proof of the passing (and especially of the lingering) of a certain rabbit through my backyard. ;-) I hope the raspberry and the roses will appreciate the ‘gift’…

Yes, Dear, everything passes some for good soem for evil but everything moves on and I think it safe to say that we are of one mind towards the passing winter.

I do pray all is well for you and that you are doing your very best at whatever you have set your hand to. The poetry is first rate as usual.

Be Well

Well said and well written, or course.

Everything will pass. Which helps with the hard things, but hurts with the good things.

Live in the moment, I say, and try to experience everything before it whooshes by.

That is a beauty of a piece, Vesper. We do spend an inordinate amount of time wishing it away.

Everything passes and moves on and sometimes it returns, the good things more than the bad. Nicely put Vesper, I enjoyed reading this and the photos too!

Yes, I am well, Mark, and doing my very best, and even feeling I should be around here more often since I am missing all of you quite a lot. Thank you for being here for me, my friend, and for your wise words. You too, be well.

Paul, 'everything whooshes by' - I couldn't believe that your son is already two years old! And you are right, if we can remember, we should live more in the (good) moments...

Thank you, Bernard! You are right. I always hear people saying how they can't wait for the next weekend or the next holiday, or the next summer, etc. without realizing how they're wishing their time away...

Sometimes it works, Charles, many times it doesn't. I discovered that I can summon the attitude with practice...

Geraldine, thank you! It's nice when good things return. :-) You are right, they do...

You're right. One way or another, it will pass. Even if just because time runs out.

I know it's hard to rise above it.

nice to see you back, even if only for a bit, v :)

I think the thought is in the background, Jason, even if good times make us rise above it.

You're right, LW. So very nice to see you here! :-)

Everything will pass, yes! Though I have lost those words too many times too count. But then, there are times like this, when they are found. Thank you Vesper.
I love the photographic proof of the passing.

Waiting ... waiting ... a long rainy day.

Watching the rain and thinking about tomorrow.

Yes, everything passes, but with a lingering scented memory...a soft feather of a lesson that once had a beak. So grateful though, when those hard things take flight.

Hello there! Long time. :D

I wouldn't mind somethings to pass by in my life currently. But they are just a few. I've been great otherwise. How have you been? How's that written-in-blood novel of your's coming along? All the best with that. Hope I get to read it soon. :D

Liza, if we'd only remember them, we'd live more intensely and, maybe be more courageous in our suffering... Thank you for your thoughtful words.

SzélsőFa, thank you - don't worry, the rabbit is fine, he was passing through my garden and not away... I just saw him today... ;-)

Matt, lovely poetry!

Wine and Words, I think I can feel the scent... the feathery touch... Thank you for such wonderful thoughts.

Hey, Aniket, it's so very nice to see you here! :D
I miss the times when our visits happened more often. I am fine, and thank you so much for asking. I trust you are fine too, despite those... somethings...
All the best to you, my friend.
