Oh so beautiful funny thing is I just looked at it this morning and said awww out loud and of course click the like, I have three cats, mymost affectionate loving cat diseapered when we moved i went through the entire town on my kness I fell of hills got stuck in roses thorn everywhere I never found her. I know she's dead and I hope she is cause then I know she's happy at one point I was contacted saying they had found her and I never ran so fast it was dark and she was scared scratched me out of fear. It took me a while to face the fact that it wasnt her mine had white under the chin and under her belly, this new one was all black. seems the parents brought to have her killed because she was sick had the worst diarrhea and a high fever and they just gave her away to be killed ...so I'm glad i made a mistake and mistook her for mine at least i saved her brought her to the vet got her fixed and adopted her...I don't want to judge but cats aren't toys you don't throw them away when they're broken...that's why I loved yours immediately I couldn't have shown trust any better or anyone else"s than you did and it comforts me somehow

And isn't it wonderful how much our beloved pets can teach us about trust? I loved this Vesper, perfect for the prompt!

That is such a sweet picture of trust between kitty and kitty's owner. Is it a picture of you or your child with the kitty? Is is very endearing.

When any creature can sleep comfortably in the embrace of another you know there is still hope in the world.

Lorraine, thank you! I’m glad you liked this photo. I’m terribly sorry about the loss of your beloved cat, but at the same time this brought you to another cat that you saved and took to live with you... so maybe this was fate after all... You’re right, animals are not toys yet so many people treat them like that. But there are many good people too.

Brian, they trust us, like children, and it’s so sweet... Yep, this one’s mine... :-)

Mark, who said anything about holding YOU like that?! LOL
Thank you for the nice compliment... strange is good... :-)

iamlostinthot, I’m glad it spoke to you! Thank you! And thank you for visiting. :-)

Geraldine, it is wonderful and very touching! Thank you so much!
Xoxoxo

Talon, a good melting... :-) I’m so glad! Thank you!

Joyce, thank you! Yes, it’s my youngest daughter, with our 8-months old kitten. :-)

Thanks, Robyn! :-)

Charles, I like to think there is... at least in the little things...

I've never understood that 'throw away pet' thinking. It is a heartbreaking reality though.

Bernard, I can't even think about this... and other cruel things... they just break my heart.

Anna, so very nice to see you here again! Thank you for this and also for the comment on the Halloween post. I was a bit overwhelmed (still am) and didn't get to answer to those comments yet... I love your blog!
All the best to you,
